Celebrating 20 Years of Turning Vision into Success

In 2026, Visual Studio Singapore marks an important milestone—20 years as an integrated creative agency, delivering ideas, experiences, and solutions that help brands connect with their audiences.
Founded in 2006, Visual Studio Singapore has grown from a small local business into a regional creative partner, supporting clients across Singapore and the wider Asia region. Over the years, the company has evolved alongside the changing landscape of marketing—expanding its capabilities across creative, strategy, digital, and experiential activations.

Visual Studio Singapore — 20 Years of Creativity and Growth

At the heart of this journey is a mindset that has guided the company from the very beginning: “Think Big Win the World.” More than just a slogan, it reflects the ambition, confidence, and forward-looking spirit that define Visual Studio. Today, this belief is embodied within the company’s own space—captured in a bold, oversized emblem in the office, serving as a daily reminder to dream bigger, push boundaries, and strive for excellence.
This mindset is evident in the work the team delivers. At its core, Visual Studio always focuses on one thing: helping brands be seen, heard, and remembered. From campaigns to large-scale activations, the team has worked closely with clients to turn ideas into meaningful experiences that engage and inspire.
Resilience That Carried Us Forward
Behind Visual Studio’s 20-year journey is not only resilience, but remarkable versatility—the ability to adapt, evolve, and deliver across vastly different environments, formats, and challenges.
Over the years, the company has demonstrated its strength in navigating a wide spectrum of projects. From managing high-profile celebrity events for Pop Icons such as Lady Gaga and Jay Chou to leveraging cutting-edge technology like projection mapping onto Singapore’s heritage buildings, Visual Studio has continuously expanded the boundaries of what it can deliver. Each project, regardless of scale or complexity, reflects a willingness to embrace new ideas, adapt to different demands, and execute with precision.

This versatility became even more critical during times of disruption. When the COVID-19 pandemic brought physical events to a standstill, Visual Studio pivoted—exploring digital formats and live streaming solutions to help clients maintain engagement and drive results. Through Facebook Live activations for brands such as Lamborghini, Harper’s Bazaar, and The Star Vista Mall, the team found new ways to connect audiences, ensuring that campaigns remained impactful despite the constraints.

What stands out is not just the variety of work undertaken, but the mindset behind it: a readiness to adapt, learn, and deliver—regardless of circumstances.
Alina Xie, Project Manager, Visual Studio Singapore, recalled one such moment during the COVID pandemic. Alina, who has been with the Singapore office since 2018, said: “I remember we had to dismantle a setup while the entire production team was down with COVID, and so it was left to my fellow project manager and me. Despite the struggle, the two of us managed to complete everything on time.”
The company’s resilience and adaptability also inspired others along the way. Yunnie Tiolanni, Accountant of Visual Studio Singapore, said: “I witnessed the company’s growth through resilience and adaptability, particularly during the COVID pandemic. This inspired me to continuously improve myself and embrace change.”
These experiences highlight a defining strength of Visual Studio: the ability to remain agile and versatile in the face of change—turning challenges into opportunities and consistently finding new ways to deliver value for clients.
A Company Built by Its People
This journey would not have been possible without the people behind it—our team, clients, and partners—whose trust and dedication shaped who we are today. Beyond the work delivered, it is the relationships formed, shared challenges, and the moments of joy that define Visual Studio.
Over the years, these moments have taken many forms. From a company gathering onboard a yacht, to an energetic bubble ball team-building session, and to a formal Awards Gala where the team came together to celebrate a hard-earned industry recognition—each occasion reflects a different side of the same story. Whether in celebration, play, or achievement, these experiences reveal a team that is not only capable but deeply connected.

This sense of connection carries into everyday life. Across roles and regions, employees speak of growing alongside the company—gaining confidence, learning through challenges, and contributing to something larger than themselves. It is this shared journey that fosters a strong sense of belonging; here, individuals feel valued not just for what they do, but for who they are within the team.
Zhong Jinping, Project Manager, Visual Studio Singapore, who reflected on his 16-year career with the firm, said: “It’s not just about going to work; it’s more about a sense of belonging and a habit.”
Cinny Angelina, Office Administrator, Visual Studio Indonesia, highlighted that behind every successful project is “the dedication and teamwork” of its people, which has carried the company’s standards and maintained its reputation over time.
Ricky, Assistant General Manager of Visual Studio Indonesia, described his 15-year journey as one of “ups and downs, challenges and crises,” expressing gratitude to be part of an organization that continues to learn, evolve, and most importantly, care for its employees.
Together, these reflections—and the milestones captured over the years—paint a clear picture: Visual Studio is more than a workplace. It is a community built on trust, shared experiences, and a genuine commitment to growing together.
Earning Trust, Project by Project
Over the past two decades, Visual Studio has built strong, lasting relationships with clients by consistently delivering reliable and creative solutions that meet evolving needs. This trust has not been built overnight, but earned steadily—through every campaign executed, every challenge overcome, and every partnership strengthened.
At the heart of this is the company’s ability to listen. By understanding what clients truly need—and not just what is asked—the team can offer thoughtful solutions, provide alternatives when required, and deliver outcomes that balance creativity, quality, and practicality. Whether working within tight timelines or complex requirements, Visual Studio remains committed to delivering work that clients can depend on.
Aris Maniquis, Assistant General Manager of Visual Studio Manila, noted that the company’s versatility in design work, combined with years of industry experience, has helped build lasting trust with long-term customers.
Shienawendy Busilig, Assistant Officer Manager, Visual Studio Singapore, added that two decades of experience have made Visual Studio “a seasoned and reliable partner,” giving clients confidence even as their needs continue to evolve.
Beyond Singapore, this trust has enabled Visual Studio to extend its work across the region—supporting clients in delivering impactful experiences in diverse markets. From the Telkomsel Carnival in Jakarta to the HBO Partner’s Event in Bali, from the Johnnie Walker promotion in Manila to the Westworld Premiere in Shanghai, the company has demonstrated its ability to execute seamlessly across different cities, audiences, and operational environments.

Each project, regardless of scale or location, reflects the same commitment to quality, adaptability, and collaboration. By bringing together local understanding with regional capabilities, Visual Studio continues to deliver experiences that resonate—strengthening its reputation as a trusted partner not just locally, but across Asia.

Jewel Changi Airport Devt Pte. Ltd.

Congratulations on reaching your 20th anniversary milestone. This is an incredible achievement!
Since Jewel Changi Airport opened in April 2019, it had been a pleasure working closely with your team on a range of projects, including key ones like the “Super Mario Pipe Around The World” activation, “Endless Surprises Await With Mastercard At Jewel” campaign, and “Jewel Privileges Programme” campaign.
Visual Studio was also our service-provider on retainer for the development and adaptation of in-mall digital contents. Your team’s ability to bring ideas to life with creativity, precision, and reliability had contributed to the success of many of our campaigns and the sparkling Jewel experiences we created for our visitors. Particularly, we were grateful for the high-level of ownership taken by the team to deliver Jewel projects.
Thank you for being a trusted partner over the years and we look forward to continuing this collaboration and achieving many more successes together!
Wishing you continued growth and success in the years ahead.

Cheang Kok Chung
Executive Director
Singapore Environment Council

Twenty years is long enough to get comfortable and admire the views. However, Larson and the Visual Studio team continues to charge forward with challenging projects. For example, they rewarded three young Singaporean designers for their work on Make Mindful Consumption Stick, SEC’s design competition with NAFA and LASALLE to get Singapore to rethink what consumption means.
Visual Studio is a leader in sustainability. The studio holds SEC’s Eco-Office Professional mark, first earned in 2023 and renewed to 2027. Agencies are good at telling clients to live the brand. Visual Studio went and did it. Cheers to the next twenty years!

Eileen Hair
Assistant Director (Event Management)
ITE College Central

Congratulations on the 20th Anniversary of Visual Studios!
Since 2017, ITE College Central’s Event Management course and Visual Studios have built a strong strategic partnership focused on nurturing future-ready event professionals through authentic industry learning experiences. Beginning with internship attachment programmes, Visual Studios has consistently supported student development through mentorship, real-world exposure, and skills training aligned with evolving industry needs.
Our collaboration expanded in 2023 when Visual Studios joined our Work-Study Diploma (WSDip) Programme as a host company, strengthening workplace learning and talent development pathways for our students aspiring to join this industry. Your commitment to excellence was further recognised with the OJT Centre Champion certification in 2024.
We are also proud to work with Visual Studios as our Corporate Partner for our 4th edition of DynamITE, a bi-annual activation event that showcases the works of our junior event management students as part of their Event Operations module assessment.
As a Corporate Partner, Visual Studios sits in the judging panel, accessing the projects based on their creativity, innovation, and experiential excellence. This collaboration further reinforces a shared vision of advancing Singapore’s future events and creative industry ecosystem, while setting a career-pathway for our students.
Voices from the Journey
The story of Visual Studio is not only told by those who are here today, but also by those who have been part of its journey over the years. Their lived experiences reflect the culture, energy, and spirit that continue to shape the company.
Maitri Marks (2009–2021) described her time as “wholesome,” sharing that beyond work, she found “camaraderie” as they worked, laughed, and partied hard together.
Melvin Lin (2008–2010) reflected on the lasting impact of his time with Visual Studio, noting that “the lessons from my first job still echo in everything I do.”
Rivy Lee (2019–2020) remembered her time at Visual Studio as simply “the most fun I’ve ever had creatively.”
These heartfelt reflections are a reminder that while people may move on, the values, friendships, and experiences built at Visual Studio continue to leave a lasting impact.
Each project, regardless of scale or location, reflects the same commitment to quality, adaptability, and collaboration. By bringing together local understanding with regional capabilities, Visual Studio continues to deliver experiences that resonate—strengthening its reputation as a trusted partner not just locally, but across Asia.
Looking Ahead
As part of this milestone, Visual Studio Singapore is giving back by supporting students and our future talent. From sustainability campaigns with LaSalle and NAFA to sponsoring DynamITE 4.0 at ITE College Central, these collaborations reflect our belief in nurturing the next generation of creative and industry professionals.
While this 20-year journey is a moment to reflect on how far the company has come, it is also a stepping stone toward what lies ahead. As the industry evolves, Visual Studio remains focused on continuing to grow, innovate, and create work that makes a difference.
With resilience as its foundation, people at its heart, and trust as its legacy, Visual Studio moves forward—ready to turn Vision into Success—and continue to Think Big and Win the World.
